Jong's letter to Dr. Henry Bauer

I have been disappointed by scientists in the last years and lost a lot of enthusiasm
in doing it. I have thought a lot about the conduct of science and trying
to find ways to warn/awken people of its consequences.
Emotionally I was hurt by some conduct of colleagues, same field scientists,
reviewers and other scientists known by news media.

I thought science is perhaps the very last defense of many hypocracy and
misconduct of human society. Many people are unknowingly going
against the very purpose or ideal of science.
